The Opportunity
Our Community division is now seeking expressions of interest from passionate Home Support Workers to assist our home care clients over the Adelaide Metropolitan area – South, East, West and North.
Promoting client choice & independence, our Home Care Support Workers are responsible for ensuring clients are happy. Make a difference and challenge the usual way of doing things to support our clients to have the best time they can.
You
Deliver a high-quality domestic service to meet the needs of our clients within their homes and in the community. This includes supporting independence and the client’s right to choose.
You will be part of a broader team and frequently communicates with Service Delivery Coordinators.
Your key customers are the clients requesting services in their homes.
Duties
/ Provide domestic services- general house cleaning, shopping, laundry, ironing and transport.
/ Support the needs of Helping Hand clients
/ Communicate Effectively
/ Be flexible when responding to changing client needs
Skills and Experience
/ A ‘Can Do Attitude’
/ Excellent communication skills
/ Good Customer Service Skills
/ Good organisational and time management skills
/ Reliable and Trustworthy
/ Hold a current drivers license
/ Registered, well maintained, clean and tidy vehicle.
/ Current First Aid Certificate.
/ Current National Police Clearance.
