Promoting client choice & independence, our Home Support Workers are responsible for ensuring clients are happy and healthy at all times. Make a difference and challenge the usual way of doing things to support our clients to have the best time they can.

Our Community division is now seeking expressions of interest from passionate Home Support Workers for shifts over the Adelaide Metropolitan area – South, East, West and North.

The Home Support Worker is responsible for the delivery of high quality domestic services to meet the needs of Helping Hand clients within their homes and in the community. This includes supporting independence, and the client’s right to choice.

This role is a part of a broader team of workers delivering services to our community clients. The team includes other home support workers, gardeners, maintenance staff and community care workers.

We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  /   A can-do attitude.

  /   Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

  /   Reliable and conscientious approach to the role.

  /   Current drivers licence.

  /   Registered, well maintained, clean and tidy vehicle.  

  /   Current First Aid Certificate.

  /   Current National Police Clearance.

  /   Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support will be highly regarded but not essential.

  /   Excellent communication skills
