The Cook is responsible for all aspects of food preparation and cooking for our residents and their special dietary requirements. This hands on role involves cooking as per the recipes and menu provided. You will possess strong knowledge of food safety legislation and be able to carry out your duties in a clean, tidy and hygienic manner at all times.
To be successful in this role you will you will ideally hold a Certificate of Commercial Cookery and have proven cooking experience in a commercial environment and using commercial cooking equipment. You will enjoy working and interacting with a variety of people and possess exceptional communication skills.
A grounded understanding of legislative requirements in respect to standards for food production, storage, hygiene and dietary requirements is essential.
