About us
An exciting opportunity now exists for two Rehabilitation Support Workers to join our Individual Psychosocial Rehabilitation Support Services (IPRSS) team. This role is a fixed term part time position required to work 30 hours per week. Using the principles of the Recovery Framework, the IPRSS program delivers psychosocial support to Clients living with a mental illness who are over the age of 65 and reside in their own homes or in Aged Care Facilities. Our Rehabilitation Support Workers are responsible for providing individualised psychosocial rehabilitation support that is goal focused, individually tailored and at a level of intensity appropriate to the Client’s needs. The position is community based and supports Clients across the Eastern and Western suburbs.
Rehabilitation Support Workers must have a passion for working in the mental health industry, possess excellent communication skills and have a minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Mental Health (Non-Clinical). This is also an ideal position for graduates from Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Services or similar to start your career and gain experience working in the mental health sector. You will be able to work autonomously, as well as be a team player and have the flexibility and initiative to manage changing priorities.
