A rare opportunity now exists for an established, competent, capable and successful Executive Assistant to support a new and dynamic Chief Executive Officer.
Based at Helping Hand’s North Adelaide Corporate Office, the primary focus of this role is to provide professional and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, and support the CFO, Chair and other executives and officers as required. This position plays an important role in public relations and customer service function requiring a focus on stakeholder management.
In addition, the role will support the corporate governance functions of the organisation through Board and Committee coordination, document management and secretarial support. While representing the CEO, CFO and other Executive Leaders, this role will be comfortable in a fast-paced working environment, always staying steps ahead and striving for excellence in support and service. The incumbent in this role demonstrates flexibility, has an eye for detail and an extraordinary commitment to getting the job done.
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, it is imperative that you can demonstrate strong relationship building skills coupled with an ability to manage conflicting deadlines. Your time management skills will be impeccable, and you will thoroughly enjoy coordinating individuals, meetings and events.
It is vital that you can demonstrate experience and trust to maintain confidentiality, discretion and high levels of integrity at all times. You will have exceptional efficiency and effectiveness in assisting more than one person in the leadership team whilst working on multiple priorities. You will have advanced administrative skills with a proactive approach to management and coordination.
Other key requirements for the role are:
/ Advanced comprehension and communication skills
/ Previous experience in complex and executive level diary management
/ A strong sense of autonomy, initiative and the ability to independently coordinate a busy workload with key deadlines and changing priorities
/ Experience in Board and Committee management including agendas, documentation preparation and minute taking
/ Ability to demonstrate commercial judgement
/ Demonstrate work ethic and values that contribute to a professional internal team environment with commitment to representing the CEO and the business confidently and professionally
/ High level technology skills including use of PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Suite and other contemporary platforms
/ Ability to make a difference in a complex and dynamic industry.
Desirable: Knowledge and interest in corporate governance.
