Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for a Physiotherapist to join our Health Care Services team on a Fixed Term Part time basis (0.6 FTE), contract ending in January 2020. This position will be based at Mawson Lakes, working across our residential facilities and community services within the Adelaide Metro region. Working closely with the Senior Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, treating and preventing disorders in human movement caused by injury or disease and works to prevent disease and disability through physical means. In conjunction with our Allied Health team, the physiotherapist will provide leadership and role modeling, particularly in the areas of contemporary and best practice allied health service and quality assurance programs.


You

To be successful in this role you will have experience in assessing and evaluating functional needs of clients and supervising staff involved in the provision of groups and physiotherapy services along with experience in working with a management group to plan the efficient use of resources to provide high quality community services. A demonstrated commitment to efficiently meeting the needs of external and internal clients and a high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and the ability to be cross culturally sensitive is essential.
