An opportunity now exists for an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our Allied Health Team at Helping Hand.
Reporting to the Senior Social Worker, this position delivers a range of social work services, including counselling, group work and community integration, across Helping Hand’s sites and services within the metropolitan area.
Working with individuals, families, groups and communities, this position will also work closely with other allied health professionals, clinical staff and other staff across our Home Care and Residential services. The position forms professional networks with other social workers internally and externally.
To be successful within this role you will possess
/ A tertiary qualification in Social Work.
/ An eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Worker (AASW) is essential.
/ Previous Experience in providing social work services to adult clients in rehabilitative environments is essential.
/ Working knowledge of local communities and networks will be highly regarded.
/ Proven experience in working with clients in aged care, disability and providing mental health support.
