Your new role

This position will work collaboratively with the Housing and Homelessness Support (HHS) Coordinator to deliver HHS programs in accordance with contractual and legislative requirements.  This position incorporates a combination of client-facing service delivery, staff supervision, and administrative responsibilities.

 

The position will also ensure that service delivery practices are consistent with Wintringham's philosophy, values and mission.

 

 

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the HHS team while managing a caseload of clients with multiple and complex needs. Oversee case planning, interventions, and service delivery to ensure person-centred, high-quality support that promotes positive client outcomes and aligns with Wintringham's values, Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Support clients to achieve sustainable housing and wellbeing outcomes by facilitating access to safe and affordable housing, Support at Home (SaH), the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and other appropriate community services. Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve service access and coordinated care.
  • Maintain high standards of case management and quality assurance by reviewing client documentation to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant record-keeping. Respond to client feedback and complaints in accordance with organisational procedures, monitor service quality, and contribute to continuous improvement through Wintringham's quality systems.
  • Lead and develop staff by providing regular supervision, coaching, and performance reviews while supporting recruitment, retention, and professional development. Foster a positive team culture through open communication, collaborative problem-solving, active participation in team meetings, and adherence to organisational policies and best practice.
  • Support effective financial and administrative operations by monitoring program income, expenditure, and client brokerage funds in collaboration with leadership. Ensure all documentation, funding requirements, and critical incident reports are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes, while undertaking other duties as directed.

 

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Level 2 certificate
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role providing practice supervision, secondary consultation, and high-quality case management for people with multiple and complex needs within the housing, homelessness, aged care, or community services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant government policies, funding and compliance requirements, continuous quality improvement, and financial management, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to social justice, collaboration, and Wintringham's values of options, dignity, and rights.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role providing practice supervision, secondary consultation, and high-quality case management for people with multiple and complex needs within the housing, homelessness, aged care, or community services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant government policies, funding and compliance requirements, continuous quality improvement, and financial management, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to social justice, collaboration, and Wintringham's values of options, dignity, and rights.
