Your new role
We are seeking a dedicated HHS Case Worker – Supportive Housing to join our Housing and Homelessness Support (HHS) team in Delahey. In this collaborative and client-focused role, you will support residents of our Delahey Independent Living community, working closely with other support workers and teams to maintain a positive team culture and deliver high-quality services in line with Wintringham’s values.
So – what is a day in the life of an HHS Case Worker – Supportive Housing?
No two days are the same in this dynamic role. You will:
- Empower residents to build independent living skills and achieve personal goals through tailored case management and coaching.
- Apply trauma-informed, harm reduction, and Housing First principles to support residents’ wellbeing and recovery.
- Facilitate access to vital services, including health, mental health, and community supports, by providing referrals and hands-on assistance.
- Promote tenancy success by partnering with residents and the Tenancy Management team to maintain stable, long-term housing.
- Champion resident rights and inclusion by fostering a culturally safe, welcoming environment and advocating for social justice.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement by maintaining accurate records, responding to feedback, and collaborating with local service providers.

We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Experience in a support worker role in Intensive Case Management, with training and/or experience in AOD, Mental Health, Family Violence, or Homelessness services
- Commitment to excellence, accountability, and innovation in service delivery
- Knowledge of relevant government policies, standards, and compliance requirements
- Well-developed communication skills and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of the Housing and Homelessness service sector, My Aged Care, NDIS, and related systems
- Commitment to Wintringham’s philosophy of social justice
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, or a related discipline, or extensive experience in the homelessness/community services sector
- First Aid Level 2
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Understanding of MARAM (desirable)
