Job Description:

The IT department at our company is dedicated to serving all IT initiatives within our eCommerce business. We are currently seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic and elite team. As a Backend Developer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the digitalization of Hong Kong's retail landscape by driving the exponential growth of the largest and leading eCommerce company in Hong Kong. You will work closely with product management and UI/UX teams to deliver new business initiatives, workflows, and solutions that continuously improve the user experience. Your role will involve defining program specifications, developing prototypes, designing and developing applications and solutions for eCommerce, and integrating them with different systems. You will also be responsible for unit testing to ensure code quality and enable project growth. This is an excellent opportunity to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while contributing to the advancement of technology and innovation in the eCommerce industry.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management and UI/UX teams to deliver new business initiatives, workflows, and solutions to continuously improve the user experience.
Define program specifications and develop prototypes.
Design and develop applications and solutions for eCommerce, integrating them with different systems.
Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and enable project growth.

Qualifications:

University graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines.
Fresh graduates are welcomed.
Passionate about the eCommerce industry with a focus on new technology and innovation.
Excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as a team player.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience in modern programming frameworks and object-oriented programming languages.
Experience with Agile or modern software development methodologies will be an advantage.
Knowledge in Spring MVC, databases, Redis, Solr, RESTful API, and unit testing will be an advantage.
