(Senior) Electronics Robotics Engineer (HK)

Job No: HKTV304
Location: Hong Kong / United Kingdom

What You will be Doing

  • Responsible to design and troubleshooting AMR or other intelligent robotic system.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using ROS1/ROS2 (Robotic Operating System) and integrating ROS packages, nodes, and libraries.
  • Integrate various hardware components, sensors, and actuators with the software system. This includes configuring and calibrating sensors, establishing communication channels, and ensuring smooth data flow between different system components and signal data analysis.
  • Design and implement algorithms for perception, planning, and control of robots. This may involve developing algorithms for navigation, object detection and recognition, motion planning, and trajectory generation.
  • Conduct extensive testing and debugging of the software system to ensure its reliability, robustness, and safety. This includes performing unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to identify and resolve software bugs or issues.
  • Design and develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that allow humans to interact with robots effectively. This involves creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and designing control panels or dashboards.
  • Create detailed documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as electrical, electronics, mechanical team, controls, production, IT, and other teams/ departments, to ensure seamless integration and operation of robotic automation or mechatronic systems.
