(Senior) Robotics and Vision Programmer

We are looking for a Robotic & Vision Programmer to join our HKTV Automation Project team!

As a Robotic & Vision Programmer, you will be responsible for:

• Develop robotic and vision applications for warehouse automation.
• Program robotic arms and 3D vision cameras for pick and place applications.
• Develop applications to integrate automation equipment in ROS or similar.
• Develop simple user interface and API endpoints for above systems.
• Source appropriate components for the system and liaise with suppliers
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Controls engineers to create working system.
• Debugging, commissioning and improvement of applications in working system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 or more years relevant work experience.
• Experience in Python, ROS, and integration with hardware.
• Experience developing vision applications in PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV
• Experience in PLCs and industrial network protocols a bonus.
• Passion for automation and the industry
• Good technical problem-solving skills 8. Self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong team spirit.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
