Robotics and Vision Programmer

We are looking for a Robotic & Vision Programmer to join our HKTV Automation Project team!

 

As a Robotic & Vision Programmer, you will be responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop robotic and vision applications for warehouse automation.
2. Program robotic arms and 3D vision cameras for pick and place applications.
3. Develop applications to integrate automation equipment in ROS or similar.
4. Develop simple user interface and API endpoints for above systems.
5. Source appropriate components for the system and liaise with suppliers
6. Collaborate with Mechanical and Controls engineers to create working system.
7. Debugging, commissioning and improvement of applications in working system.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 3 or more years relevant work experience.
3. Experience in Python, ROS, and integration with hardware.
4. Experience developing vision applications in PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV
5. Experience in PLCs and industrial network protocols a bonus.
6. Passion for automation and the industry
7. Good technical problem-solving skills
8. Self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong team spirit.
9. Fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
