Learning & Development Assistant Manager
What You Will Be Doing
The Learning & Development Assistant Manager will lead the company’s talent development agenda, driving strategic programs that strengthen organizational capability and prepare future leaders. This role will oversee trainee and internship pipelines, leadership development, and enterprise‑wide learning initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who combines strategic vision with hands‑on program delivery, and who embraces AI‑enabled solutions to modernize learning and inspire continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Development
- Lead the planning and execution of trainee and internship programs to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Align learning initiatives with organizational priorities and long‑term workforce planning.
Program Design & Facilitation
- Develop and deliver impactful training programs across all levels, acting as both program architect and trainer.
- Incorporate AI tools and digital platforms to modernize learning delivery and enhance engagement.
Talent Management & Leadership Growth
- Partner with the Talent Management Team to identify high‑potential employees and design tailored development pathways.
- Drive leadership readiness and succession planning through structured programs and coaching.
Learning Strategy & Innovation
- Define and implement the L&D strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data and analytics, recommending improvements to maximize impact.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices and emerging technologies into L&D strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership
- Build strong partnerships with senior management, department heads, and external providers to ensure programs meet business needs.
- Lead and mentor the L&D team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
Who is Our Right Fit
- 8-9 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organisational Development.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing enterprise‑wide learning initiatives.
- Strong expertise in program design, delivery, and facilitation.
- Proven experience in leadership development and talent pipeline management.
- Familiarity with AI tools, digital learning platforms, and modern learning technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative leader with initiative, ownership, and passion for talent development.
