About the role

Design, develop, and maintain Java / Spring Boot 3.x microservices for the E-Commerce Platform, including migrating functionality from the legacy monolith.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java / Spring Boot 3.x microservices for the E-Commerce Platform, including migrating functionality from the legacy monolith

  • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced

  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications, including unit and integration tests, to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct

  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program

Requirement

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines

  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in Java application development, ideally including Spring Boot microservices

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (“AI vibe coding”), using tools such as AI coding assistants to accelerate prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, or documentation, is highly preferred.

  • Strong experience in :
    - Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns
    - Microservices / distributed application architecture and design
    - Database design and SQL optimization (MySQL)
    - Inter-service communication via gRPC and asynchronous messaging via RabbitMQ
    - Containerization with Docker and caching with Redis Cluster

  • Experience with :
    - Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Data JPA, and MapStruct
    - Version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (Maven)
    - Mentoring junior programmers and conducting code reviews
