Who are we?

Wintringham is a not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to men and women aged 50-plus who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness.  We employ over 800 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

 

Your new role:

Wintringham is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join the finance team at our Head Office in Flemington on a Full Time basis.  Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely management of Wintringham’s accounts payable obligations.

 

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Prepare and process invoices to the Accounts Payable module.
  • Payment of outstanding creditors with credit terms.
  • Maintain cost allocation spreadsheets.
  • Reconciliation of accounts payable statements and resolving queries with creditors.
  • Cost allocations in accordance with Program Managers instructions and annual budgets.
  • Resolving enquiries with creditors and liaising with program Managers in relation to these queries.

 

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Experience working within an Accounts Payable team
  • Experience using Epicor and/or Docstar
  • Confident using Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Experience in coordinating and prioritising tasks
  • Understanding of accounting procedures
