Who are we?

Wintringham is a specialist not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to men and women aged 50-plus who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness.  We employ over 950 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and Hobart. Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham’s residential, housing and community care services.

 

Your new role

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced IT professional with prior experience in Enterprise Application Support and Business Intelligence to join our team on a full-time or part time basis (30-38 hours per week).  As a newly created role that is part of the IT leadership team, this role provides the right candidate the opportunity to lead and improve the organisations BI and Application Support service. Your technical knowledge will underpin your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. 

 

Other responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Support Wintringham to achieve its strategic IT goals by managing Enterprise Applications.
  • Provide the organisation with effective business intelligence tools to support operations, continuous improvement, and business decision making.
  • Ensure effective application support is provided, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and action disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practice and prevailing developments in IT and apply these to promote continuous improvement at Wintringham
  • Ensure effective application security practices are in place and adhered to, including auditing.

 

What we’ll require from you

  • Prior experience in a similar role, Enterprise Application Vendor Support/ Consulting, or IT Consulting role.
  • Excellent problem solving aptitude & ability to think on your feet.
  • Exceptional communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Strong hands-on technical expertise with a range of technologies such as –
    • SQL Server, Reporting Services, and strong general database and BI reporting skills that could be applied to different technologies
    • Windows Server and 3 tier application architectures
    • IT (Application) Security
    • Exposure to Epicor, LeeCare or PayGlobal would be advantages
  • Exposure to other Enterprise Application and BI technologies such as IIS, ADFS, LDAP, MySQL, Excel, Power BI, MS Forms, Access, and a readiness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to liaise with staff at every level of the organization
  • Current driver’s license & own reliable vehicle for site visits if required
