Bush Heritage Australia is seeking a Head of Finance to join the Corporate Services team.

About the role
The Head of Finance leads the development, implementation and supervision of all aspects of the Finance function for BHA.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services & CFO and managing three direct reports, the role works closely with the BHA Executive, managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure the Finance function meets business needs and significantly contributes to the ongoing improvement of organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key focus areas for the role include adaptive and insightful business forecasting, analysis and reporting, strong financial control and cash management, systems development and integration and clear communication to deliver high quality financial services to the business.
It is expected the Head of Finance will have the leadership attributes to fulfil the EM Corporate Services in an Acting capacity, as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA or CPA designation (equivalent extensive experience may be considered as an alternative where formal professional qualifications are not held).

At least five years' senior experience with responsibility for key processes and/or team management.

Demonstrated commitment to building sound, collaborative business relationships on a multitude of levels, both internal and external to the business.

Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate across all levels in both written and oral form. The incumbent will be interacting with the Bush Heritage Executive Leadership Team and Directors on a regular basis.

High level of practical knowledge in relevant information systems application and implementation, modelling and forecasting and financial accounting principles.

Demonstrate the desire and capacity to rapidly acquire a general understanding of Bush Heritage’s activities.
