We are looking for an ICT Customer Support Officer to join our WA team, based in Carlisle, on a full-time basis.
About the role
Reporting to the CIO, you will be providing support, education and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure and the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues. You’ll ensure efficient customer service assistance for ICT related services, including computer and related peripherals, applications and developments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Troubleshoot problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and office applications
- Manage user accounts, both Onboarding and Offboarding, and perform other basic administrative tasks
- Document issues and resolutions clearly in the Helpdesk system
What you’ll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT
- Solid knowledge of ICT infrastructure and security best practices
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills
- Able to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to prioritise requests and manage time effectively
- Experience in aged care sector is a bonus
- 1-2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
