Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 38 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA, ACT and NSW. We are seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist to provide support to our NSW homes on a full-time basis. You will form part of a supportive and collaborative team, with access to ongoing supervision and professional development. 

 

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Nutrition and Hydration, you will be responsible for providing speech pathology services to residents requiring assessment, diagnosis and management of communication and swallowing disorders, as well as supporting our organisation-wide menu management activities and Nutrition & Hydration program.  Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well when making meaningful connections with residents and their families. 

 

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Post-grad experience overseeing dysphagia management caseload
  • Experience in the aged care industry will be highly regarded
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Influenza vaccination
  • Full work rights in Australia
