The exciting opportunity

• Manage all kitchen operations at our gorgeous 134 bed aged care facility
• Lead, direct, inspire and nurture a team of 10-15 Cooks and Kitchen Hands
• Consult with Dietitians and Speech Pathologists to design menus that are appetising and aligns with residents’ needs and choices
• Manage costs, effectively control stock and identify efficiencies to meet budget
• Encourage feedback to achieve continuous improvements
• Remain involved in food preparation, cooking and presentation

About you

• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or Chef Manager, ideally in residential aged care
• Experienced and hands on leader who is passionate about developing, nurturing and teaching staff to achieve a culture of teamwork and success
• Superb communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, and views feedback as an opportunity to improve
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
