The exciting opportunity

• Manage all kitchen operations at our homely 41 bed Sirius Cove aged care facility in Mosman
• Full time permanent role working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
• Lead, direct and mentor a Cook and team of Kitchen Hands
• Consult with Dietitians and Speech Pathologists to implement menus that align with residents’ needs and choices
• Cook and present appetising and nutritious food
• Manage costs, effectively control stock and identify efficiencies to meet budget
• Encourage and address feedback to achieve continuous improvements

About you

• Proven track record as a Cook or Chef in residential aged care with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
• Experienced and hands on leader who is passionate about mentoring staff to achieve a culture of teamwork and success
• Superb communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, and views feedback as an opportunity to improve
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
