The exciting Head Cook opportunity

• Full time permanent role 
• Manage kitchen operations at our homely 23 bed Aubrey Downer aged care facility in Point Clare
• Prepare, cook and present appetising and nutritious food
• Consult with Dietitians and Speech Pathologists to implement menus that align with residents’ needs and choices
• Manage costs, effectively control stock and identify efficiencies to meet budget
• Encourage and address feedback to achieve continuous improvements

About you

• Proven track record as a Cook or Chef in residential aged care with a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
• Excellent understanding of food safety and proven ability meeting governing legislation
• Superb communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, and views feedback as an opportunity to improve
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
