The exciting opportunity

• Permanent part time role working Tuesday – Friday, 6:30am – 2:30pm
• Based at our beautiful 134 bed Blue Haven aged care facility in Kiama
• Report into the Executive Chef and work with a team of Kitchen Hands
• Focus on cooking nutritious and appetising breakfasts and desserts
• Ensure that resident's individual menu choices are met, including any special dietary requirements
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage

About you

• Successful track record as a Cook within residential aged care
• Experience preparing textured modified foods including minced and moist
• Personable, respectful, and with effective communication and customer service skills
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
• Unlimited working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not offered)
