The exciting opportunity

• Permanent part-time role working three days a week
• Based at our beautiful 129 bed Lake Cathie aged care home
• Plan, create, coordinate and deliver education to clinical and care staff
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify the areas of education to focus on
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the training provided and make any necessary improvements
• Ensure staff are educated to meet competency requirements

About you

• An AHPRA Registered Nurse with a proven track record in a Senior Registered Nurse, Management or Educator role within residential aged care
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is ideal
• Excellent clinical knowledge and a sound understanding of the strengthened standards
• Dynamic, excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative, demonstrates initiative, self-motivated, computer savvy and has a big picture approach to education
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
