Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 39 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA, NSW and ACT. We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to work on a full-time basis across our growing suite of homes in NSW. You will not only be joining a compassionate aged care organisation, but you will also form part of our in-house building partner, Mayfair Building and Construction (MBC).

 

About the role

Reporting to our National General Manager of Operations, you will work across our homes in NSW to oversee renovations that result in significant improvements to our homes and the lives of our residents, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant aged care legislation and standards. You will liaise directly with consultants, providing documentation and confirming the submission / approval of DA’s, overseeing small–midsized build work programs.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g. Cert IV in Drafting
  • Previous experience as a draftsperson with an ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with industry-specific requirements and legislation. Aged care experience will be well regarded here.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, CAD etc.
