Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 36 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA and NSW. We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior HR Business Partner to support our homes and staff across the NSW and ACT region. The role is based in our NSW State Office in Lane Cove, with occasional travel to our homes located in the Sydney CBD, NSW Region and ACT.
About the role
You will play a crucial role in partnering with the NSW leadership team while reporting to the Director of Human Resources based in WA. The successful applicant will be a proactive HR partner who is committed to educating business leaders to drive best practice HR outcomes. You’ll provide high level, timely and professional advice to the management team in relation to all HR matters; including people & culture strategy, employment conditions, performance management, grievances, attraction and retention of staff. This role will have a balance of operational and strategic HR accountabilities, working with a wider HR team to drive positive cultural initiatives, strong and effective engagement that supports high performance.
What you’ll need to succeed?
To be successful in the role, you’ll need to possess the following:
- Previous experience as a HR business partner and the ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements and other workplace related legislation/regulations
- Ability to build strong credible relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
- Strong ability to listen and understand differing views and perspectives, and be able to negotiate with relevant stakeholders
- National Police Clearance (obtained in last six months)
- Evidence of 2024 Influenza vaccination (or be willing to obtain)
- Full working rights in Australia
