Position overview:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Coordinator's Assistant to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm, to cover a colleague’s role while on parental leave. Based in New Farm, the role provides administrative support to our Collaborative Support team.
This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our services, aiding in recruitment processes, and maintaining the quality of support provided to our customers.
As a Coordinator's Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the recruitment process, including phone interviews and reference checking
- Providing relief for Coordinators during interviews and inductions
- Managing phone communications and filing tasks
- Conducting data entry and maintaining support staff files
- Booking training and inductions for support staff
- Undertaking various projects as requested
- Upholding the principles of a person-centered and community-based service approach
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of customer service and administrative experience, together with an understanding of the communities/disabilities sector. We seek individuals who are warm, approachable, and committed to providing high-quality support and customer service.
- A minimum of 2+ years in an administrative role
- Preferably experience in the communities/disabilities sector
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to handle confidential matters sensitively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive demeaner
Applicants must also hold or be willing to obtain a Disability Worker Screening clearance card and a current Blue Card, along with the Quality, Safety and You, NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.
