This will be a flagship site for our growth in WA and we’re looking for an HR & WHS Advisor who wants to play a key role in building the culture and safety foundations from the ground up.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of HR ANZ, you’ll be the go-to person for all things People and Safety at our new Nambeelup site. This is a rare chance to combine HR and WHS in one impactful role, partnering with leaders and employees to build an engaged, high-performing, and safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, support and guidance to people managers for HR/Employee Relations and Safety matters.
- Respond to queries regarding human resources and safety matters including compensation, professional development, employment, grievances, disciplinary, termination matters, injury management as well as HR & WHS policies and procedures.
- Support the HR programs including KPI Setting, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Succession Planning.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager ANZ and site leaders to attract best talent into the organisation.
- Lead site safety inductions, compliance and inspections as required.
- Partner with managers to build a strong safety-first culture.
- Support injury management and ensure compliance with legislation and procedures.

About You:
We are looking for a confident and experienced HR/WHS professional who thrives in diverse, dynamic and growing environments. You'll be approachable, able to adapt your communication style to various audiences and enjoy building relationships. To be successful in this role you will also bring:
- HR Qualifications with 4+ years of experience in HR/WHS within a complex, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
- Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry with a global company will be a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in employee relations and WHS practices
- Strong written and verbal communication with excellent listening and interaction skills.
- Ability to apply diplomacy, lead difficult conversations with awareness to sensitive matters.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
- MS-Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Previous experience with an HRIS and an ATS system will be an advantage.
- High standards of Business Practices and Ethics.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence people for the right outcome.
