HSW is on the lookout for Casual Cleaners to join our dynamic team on an afternoon shift basis. In this role you will support the Facilities team to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained acoss the Wharves.

Key Responsibilities will include:

PM shift:

Various times between 2:30 PM - 1:30 AM

• Cleaning the venues on site for closing 
• Maintaining the venue restrooms and common areas 
• Follow instructions and daily checklists
• Attend to radio calls for cleaning requirements across the site
• Ensure a safe and clean workspace is maintained
• Correctly handle chemicals and equipment as per manufacturer’s instructions
• Maintain the storage areas and equipment hygienically and safety

What we’re looking for:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred 
• Flexibility with rostering including weekend work
• Valid visa with at least one year remaining.
• Availability to cover shifts on short notice if other cleaners call in sick.
• The ability to commence work as soon as possible
• Strong desire to pursue a career in this industry
• Must have own form of transportation due to late finishes
• Must be available on call for sick coverage, in addition to scheduled shifts.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on thoroughness and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical strength to handle the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to report issues or needs to supervisors.
