About the role

As a Commercial Manager, you will be crucial in ensuring ongoing success by offering financial insights and strategic advice to various departments within the business. Reporting to HSW Group Operations Manager and working closely with the venue General Managers, the key aspect of this role is to ensure the efficient operations of all HSW businesses and achieving annual targets.

This newly established role is well-suited for current business partners, or management, financial accountants with previous experience ideally in hospitality. It is a great fit for individuals wanting growth and who is driven to achieve operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Business Partnering: Reporting to HSW Group Operations and working closely with the venue General Manager to drive improved performance via the preparation and implementation of correct actions plans, where required.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparation of weekly and quarterly financial reports on HSW businesses performance and presentation of same to Group Management.
• Management: Direct management of several support services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the group accounting and administration team in the processing of AR & AP and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for all HSW businesses.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience at a senior accounting or accounting/operation role
• CA or CPA, with 10 years’ experience
• Hospitality industry experience (advantageous)
• Previous experience with MYOB Advanced (advantageous)
• Proficient in excel and PowerBI (advantageous)
