Howard Smith Wharves are on the lookout for a guest focused and vibrant Full-Time Supervisor to join our dedicated Events team.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
• Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
• Visibly active on the floor, leading by example and supporting Food and Beverage Attendants to be the best that they can be
• Assisting guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
• A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
• Coordinate and manage the logistics of bump-ins and bump-outs for events
• Set up venues according to client specifications, ensuring all equipment and facilities are ready
• Oversee the smooth operation of small events, from start to finish
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and staff to ensure seamless event execution
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and coordinate quick solutions

• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
• Be a positive and collaborate team player
• Hold a valid Queensland RSA
