We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for executing the marketing and activation activities in accordance with brand guidelines for Artemus Group Businesses including Howard Smith Wharves precinct, select HSW hospitality venues, Story Bridge Adventure Climb and Manly Wharf.
This is a unique role that combines the new digital world, with good old fashion hospitality guest service. Ultimately, your success will be judged by the ongoing guest take up of the me&u system at Artemus Group and the sales the platform delivers to the business.

What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications/advertising with ideally 3 years’ experience within the hospitality and or adventure tourism industry
- Experience with CRM, email marketing, CMS management and eCommerce
- Knowledge of HTML design and email software
- Creative thinking with a knack for developing unique and engaging marketing campaigns
- Project management skills
- Telephone skills, verbal communication, customer service, listening, informing others, handles pressure, professionalism, multi-tasking
- Design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and In Design, Microsoft Office, reporting skills, administrative writing skills, documentation skills, organization
- Graphic Design skills and experience
- Quality focus, problem solving, market knowledge
- Ability to be flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to optimize work processes for effectiveness and efficiency
- Experience in a similar role
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Marketing team and Business Managers to conceptualise and implement innovative marketing campaigns to drive patronage and revenue for Artemus Group businesses.
- Maintain marketing calendars for all marketing activities
- Execution and roll-out of marketing activities – develop, coordinate and drive marketing activity for group businesses. Liaise with relevant business managers as point of contact.
- Assisting with activations/events from initial concept, planning and roll-out to coordination and execution on the day.
- Develop and co-ordinate database communication for group businesses
- Assisting with maintaining and optimising digital ordering platform Me & U and developing promotional campaigns.
Collateral & advertising
- Develop and maintain brand, business and activation collateral
- Respond to sponsorship and collaboration enquiries
Photoshoots
- Coordinate and book photographers/videographers for content creation purposes
- Maintain and grow the photo library
- Coordinate external photoshoots and liaise with internal stakeholders
- Generate and respond to photoshoot, sponsorship and collaboration opportunities and requests
Digital
- Maintain and update Artemus Group websites regularly using website CMS systems
- Develop strong digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with external digital marketing agency
- Manage, design and implement engaging email marketing campaigns for group businesses
- Analyze and segment databases
- Implement, maintain and update information on external online listings
- Copy development and editing
- Monitor and optimise digital ordering platforms, developing promotional campaigns to drive sales
PR
- Co-ordinate PR campaigns in accordance with PR plan
- Collect media mentions
Financial
- Commit to a culture of financial responsibility, accountability, sustainability, and commercial and practical investment.
- Campaign budget management in accordance with annual marketing budget
- Track and measure the success of marketing campaigns
Communication and administration
- Continue to build on the photo library for the Artemus Group businesses
- Implementation of digital competitions
- Liaise and meet regularly with the Venue GMs and Business Managers regarding their marketing campaigns to ensure the timely delivery of campaigns and collateral
- Communicate digital marketing campaign requirements to relevant business units – ie reservations, POS
- Assist in other projects research/development etc that arises throughout the year
- Collect and analyse market data to identify opportunities
- Record and issue donations, prizes and gift certificates
