At Artemus, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Reservations & VIP Manager to lead and oversee our reservations department. In this key role, you will ensure the seamless handling of guest bookings, focusing on maximizing occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction, while maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency.
As the Group Reservations & VIP Manager, you will also be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with high-value VIP clients. Your primary goal will be to provide these clients with personalized services and exceptional attention, elevating their experience and fostering long-term loyalty.
This role is additionally responsible for overseeing both Brisbane & Sydney hospitality venue reservations systems and procedures designed to increase revenue across all Artemus venues through reservations and in-venue experiences, in conjunction with Venue Managers.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide training, leadership and direction to the Reservations Team to ensure high level of productivity, efficiency and motivation ensuring effective management of inbound phone calls, venue inboxes and group bookings.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth, teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement effective reservations strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Achieve set KPIs for conversion of enquiry generated from digital marketing campaigns across venues.
- Monitor reservation trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly to meet changing market conditions.
- Primary point of contact for VIP clients, on-call phone, providing VIPs with new offerings and updates (early access to special events, special offers), ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Use reservation system data to prepare regular operational reviews, reports, business performance insights, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the successful operation of hospitality venue reservations systems and phone sysgems procedures designed to increase revenue across all HSW venues
- Lead major innovation projects in Seven Rooms, oversee rollout of new features and continual monitoring to ensure system is enhanced and refined ongoing
- Innovation drive in conjunction with venues to develop new offerings/enhancements designed to increase revenue across all venues.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, multi-venue experience highly regarded
- Reservations System management and experience required
- Proven ability to build trust and solid working relationships with all stake holders.
- Enjoy managing multiple projects and deadlines.
