Are you ready to do what you love? Join us as the Group Bookings Coordinator at Manly Wharf.
We are looking to appoint a Group Bookings Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Group Reservations and VIP Manager and be responsible for driving revenue by managing all inbound and outbound enquiries related to group reservations across Artemus Group’s portfolio of venues. This position will play a key role in supporting both Howard Smith Wharves venues in Brisbane and Manly Wharf venues, ensuring a seamless group booking experience across these iconic locations.
Manly Wharf is Sydney’s iconic waterfront destination, blending heritage charm with a vibrant community spirit. Owned and operated by hospitality and tourism specialists Artemus Group, the organization has a proven track record of delivering world-class dining and entertainment experiences while revitalizing beloved, iconic waterfront sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with general reservations duties when required, working as part of the wider team.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound group booking enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Conduct outbound business development and follow-up communications to maximise conversion rates and secure repeat business.
- Manage the group booking process end-to-end, from enquiry through to confirmation and handover to operations.
- Conduct site inspections with potential clients, delivering a polished and informative experience that highlights venue capabilities.
- Prepare proposals, event briefs, and booking confirmations in line with brand standards.
- Upsell venue features, packages, and add-ons to maximise revenue per booking.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, leads, and client communication using the CRM system and SevenRooms.
- Collaborate with venue managers and kitchen teams to ensure operational readiness and accurate event delivery.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a reservations department with multiple venue within hospitality
- Prover experience in fast-paced hospitality environments
- Experience in the SevenRooms reservations system
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
