Howard Smith Whares are looking to appoint an Assistant Reservations Manager where you will work alongside the Group Reservations and VIP Manager, leading the team from our Brisbane office. You will work on the conversion of large incoming enquiries generated from digital marketing campaigns across the suite of HSW hospitality venues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide training, leadership and direction to the Reservations Team to ensure high level of productivity, efficiency and motivation ensuring effective management of inbound phone calls, venue inboxes and group bookings.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth, teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the handling of all reservations, including direct bookings and group bookings.
- Ensure reservations are processed accurately and efficiently, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Responsible for ensuring all internal and guest-facing information is kept up to date including latest menus, opening hours across internal platforms and HSW/Venue websites.
- Liaising with the kitchen and operations teams on a regular basis with regards to upcoming bookings
- Pass on guest feedback to Group Reservations and VIP Manager.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience leading a reservations department with multiple venue
- Proven ability to build trust and solid working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Experience in the SevenRooms reservations System
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
