Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in the management of our venue’s financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing company and develop your skills within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Month end reporting including variance analysis and commentaries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- P&L reporting and analysis
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets/forecasts and ongoing budget monitoring
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to monitor financial performance and provide insights
- Identify and implement efficient finance processes
- Fixed asset management
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, FBT & payroll tax
- Play an active role in various process improvement projects
- Adhoc support for Financial Controller and CFO as required
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, with at least 3-5 years experience in a commercial environment
- Previous experience with cloud-based accounting systems (MYOB Acumatica advantageous)
- Solid financial acumen and a knack for commercial accounting
- Strong analytical, technical and excel skills, with a “can do” attitude
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work autonomously in a fast paced, dynamic environment
