Are you ready to do what you love? We are always seeking passionate and skilled Cocktail Production Assistants to join our vibrant team across a variety of iconic venues at Howard Smith Wharves. 

As a Cocktail Production Assistant, you will support the Supervisor in preparing prebatch cocktails and bulk spirits that supply our venues, ensuring consistency, precision, and high standards at every stage. This hands-on role involves assisting with product development, inventory tasks, quality checks, and maintaining safety and RSA requirements. It is a fantastic opportunity to build your knowledge of cocktails and spirits, develop your skills in a process-driven environment, and grow within a dynamic hospitality group.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a process-driven/production-based environment, or bartenders with cocktail-making experience
  • Passion for all things spirits and cocktails
  • Ability to work autonomously while supporting the Supervisor
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the production of prebatch cocktail bottles and keg
  • Supporting the management of bulk spirits
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock counts
  • Helping with new product development and recipe trials
  • Conducting quality checks on in-venue products under supervision
  • Supporting the calculation and reporting of cocktail specs in line with RSA requirements
  • Following all safety measures and cleaning standards of the production process
