Job summary
For the CX team based in Melbourne’s HQ, crafting great experiences for all our customers is of the utmost importance to us. Which is why we are completely rebuilding our web design architecture at Intrepid Group, and need an experienced UI/Visual Designer to lead the design direction.
Who are you?
- You are an experienced UI Designer with amazing design skills.
- You are a Sketch expert.
- You are confident in understanding the front-end development that goes into building what you design.
The structure of your symbols in Sketch reflects the structure of the components in code. (But hey… if you don't know how something works – you ask!) - You are a proactive and independent worker – when set with a goal and deliverables you go for it!
- You care about working for a company with a purpose beyond profit.
What will you be doing?
- 6-month contract working primarily on new component-based design system
- Collaborating closely with UX Manager and Lead Front-End Developer on design, documentation and vision of design system.
- Working with existing brand guidelines for our three core brands, UX/UI best practice and web accessibility guidelines to make a website framework that is beautiful, branded and inclusive of all our customers.
- Deliverables include updating a Sketch library of components, mock-ups of key pages using existing or carefully considered components, documentation of when and how to use each component – based on interaction design best practices.
- Work at Intrepid Group’s global HQ at the awesome Melbourne CBD office (table tennis, beer garden and barista coffee machine)
