The majority of our workers directly serve our customers in the community including our talented Support Workers, Case Managers, Clinical and Allied Health Professionals and Customer Service Officers. These staff are supported by our fabulous Team Leaders, Scheduling, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Human Resources and Business Excellence teams.

 

Support Worker roles provide domestic assistance, intimate personal care, transportation, as well as implement health and wellbeing initiatives and services that support our clients care plans.

  • Permanent part time opportunities available as unqualified or qualified
  • Base hourly rate of $29.50 with 11% Superannuation, 25% causal loading and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax benefits)
  • Travel allowance of $0.96c per km and paid travel time between services
  • Daily mobile allowance paid when using your own device for work related purposes

 

Required skills, experience, and credentials 

  • Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
  • Minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is essential for a qualified position
  • Medication assist module is desirable for a qualified position
  • Able to work and travel around the area of work (up to an hour travel)
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
  • A current National Police Check or willing to obtain
  • Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smart phone or tablet
