The Opportunity
We’re growing our services and welcoming more clients in the stunning Upper Hunter region, and we’d love you to be part of it! Based in the charming town of Scone (yes, like the baked good!), you’ll get to work in a place known for its friendly faces, beautiful countryside, and world-famous horses.
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role as the glue that connects our clients, our business, and the broader community. You’ll be providing essential support that makes a difference in people’s daily lives while helping maintain strong relationships between clients and their community. This is a vital and rewarding role, and we are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to creating positive, lasting change.
Key Responsibilities
We have opportunities available for both A1 and A2 Support Workers, depending on your skills and experience.
As an A1 Support Worker, you will:
- Help with meal preparation and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic home environment for clients
- Offer social support and companionship to keep clients connected and engaged
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow client care plans
As an A2 Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver all A1 support duties
- Provide personal care, assist with showering, dressing, and medication assistance
What We Offer
- Flexible part-time shifts between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Friday
- Competitive hourly rates with additional benefits
- Up to $15,900 in tax-free salary packaging to increase your take-home pay
- $0.99/km travel allowance and daily mobile allowance.
- A 2-week paid induction and 8 weeks onboarding program.
What We're Looking For
- A kind heart and a genuine passion for supporting older Australians
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
