We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in St. Helens and surrounding areas, helping our clients maintain their independence and well-being. About the Role
- Flexible Hours: Enjoy a permanent part-time role that fits around your personal or family commitments.
- Competitive Pay: $32.67 per hour (plus superannuation) + 25% casual loading, along with travel reimbursement.
- Make an Impact: Support clients with domestic tasks, social engagement, and health & wellbeing initiatives.
- Community-Focused: Work in a range of client homes across St. Helens, Scamander, St. Mary’s, and nearby areas.
What You’ll Do
- In-Home Support and Assistance and Personal Care: Assist with cleaning, meal preparation,showering, medication assist and other household tasks.
- Social Support: Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations to promote companionship.
- Health and Wellbeing: Implement initiatives to enhance the physical and emotional health of clients.
- Travel Across St. Helens: Visit clients in various locations, with travel paid at $0.99/km.
What You’ll Bring
- Passion for Helping Others: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on older adults' lives.
- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Health Services/Disability (or equivalent).
- Must-Haves: Valid driver’s license, reliable car, basic tech skills, First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Engagement: Ability to build meaningful connections and provide excellent person-centered care.
