We are currently looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Tweed Heads. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly clients, helping them stay independent in their homes. You will assist with tasks such as domestic cleaning, meal preparation, personal care, social support, and health and wellbeing initiatives.
This is a Permanent Part Time role with flexible working hours available from Monday to Friday, ranging from 7 am to 7 pm.
What You’ll Do:
• Care & Companionship: Help older clients maintain their independence by providing domestic assistance, personal care, and companionship.
• Daily Assistance: Assist with tasks like cleaning, shopping, and transportation to appointments.
• Variety & Flexibility: Work in different homes across the Tweed Heads area, offering dynamic and fulfilling work.
• Support Their Well-being: Implement health and wellbeing initiatives to improve clients' quality of life.
What You’ll Bring:
• Compassionate Helpers: A genuine passion for supporting older adults.
• Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Reliable: Current driver’s license, a registered and insured vehicle, and the ability to travel around the Tweed Heads area.
• Technology Savvy: Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for work-related tasks.
• Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
