About the Role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of older adults? We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Scottsdale, providing essential domestic assistance, social support, and health and wellbeing initiatives to help our clients maintain their independence.
- Flexible Hours: Permanent part-time opportunity with hours tailored to your availability. Preferred availability between Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
- Attractive Pay: Competitive base hourly rate of $32.67 + 11% superannuation, with additional salary packaging to maximise your take-home pay.
- Travel Allowances: Get reimbursed 99 cents per km for travel between services, plus a mobile allowance for using your personal device for work purposes.
- Supportive Environment: Work with a compassionate, professional team dedicated to delivering quality care.
What You'll Do:
- Provide Person-Centered Care: Support clients with tasks like cleaning, meal prep, showering/medication assist and social support.
- Enhance Wellbeing: Implement health and wellbeing initiatives that help clients live independently.
- Foster Meaningful Connections: Build relationships with clients, offering companionship and support.
- Community Impact: Make a tangible difference in the lives of older adults in the Scottsdale community, including Ringarooma, Jetsonville, and surrounding areas.
Who We're Looking For:
- Passion for Aged Care: A genuine desire to help older adults lead fulfilling, independent lives.
- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV, in Aged Care, Disability, or Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing.
- Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle: A current, fully insured vehicle for travel between services.
- Tech-Savvy: Confidence in using smartphones or tablets for work tasks.
- Certifications: Current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
