Executive Support Officer

Applications are invited for the position of Executive Support Officer, based at Council's Administration Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the provision of secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Services Branch and to act as the Personal Assistant to the Director Corporate and Community Services.

Essential:

Qualifications

Higher School Certificate or NSW School Certificate Record of School Achievement with satisfactory experience.

 Class C (1A) Drivers Licence.

 Skills and Experience

• Sound demonstrated secretarial and administrative skills.

• Capacity to operate in an office environment using Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and other general office computer applications.
Demonstrated high degree of confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability, experience and commitment to excellence in customer service.
Demonstrated outstanding written communication skills.

Previous experience in Local Government

Commencement, progression and/or completion of a couse of study acceptable to the Governance and Executive Services Coordinator

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be Operational Band 3, Level 2, Grade 7. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience and will be in a range from $1,116.30 to $1,202.13 gross per week.
