Applications are invited for the position of Grader Operator, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the satisfactory execution of roads and drainage maintenance by a grader on projects undertaken by the Civil Engineering Branch. Construction grading may also be required to be carried out on an occasional basis.

Qualifications
- NSW School Certificate or acceptable education standard;
- Trade Certificate in Plant Operation OR Suitable formal training and satisfactory experience operating a grader in road construction/ maintenance;
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence;
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card');
Desirable Criteria:

- SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (TCR, IMP)
Skills and Experience
- Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors or suitable experience.
- Demonstrated ability to final trim.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 4, Grade 7. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,155.40 to $1,244.20 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.498 per hour will be paid where applicable.
