The Maintenance Team Leader North plays a critical role as an in-field supervisor, responsible for managing and controlling maintenance works while providing essential support to the Supervisor North. Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in civil construction, complemented by relevant supervisory experience. We are looking for individuals who can effectively communicate, lead a team, and engage with the public positively.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- NSW School Certificate/ NSW Record of School Achievement or equivalent.
- Certificate III in Civil Construction and satisfactory experience and knowledge in the relevant fields of operation.
- Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors OR suitable experience.
- Class C Drivers License.
- Experience in dealing with the public.
- Knowledge of computer systems including familiarity with word processing, Excel, the Internet, and a hand-held computer device.
- Traffic Controller Certificate.
- Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificate.
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’).
Desirable Criteria:
- Identify, locate and protect underground services unit of competency.
- Work safely in the vicinity of overhead electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.
- Road Inspector Certificate.
- Culvert Inventory Collection – Qualified Inspectors Certificate.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $1,349.60 to $1,453.46 gross per week, with an additional Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions allowance where applicable.
