Applications are invited for the position of Mixed Duties Operator, based at Council's Ashford Works Depot. The Mixed Duties Operator is an in-field working supervisor, responsible for the satisfactory implementation of road maintenance programs and/ or minor construction projects and supervision of a small field unit.

Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:
Essential Criteria:
• NSW School Certificate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors, or suitable experience.
• Knowledge of roadwork techniques.
• Knowledge of minor structural practices.
• NSW Class MR Drivers Licence.
• National Licence to perform High Risk Work for Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (CN).
• National Licence to perform High Risk Work for Dogging (DG).
• Traffic Controller Certificate.
• Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificate.
• SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’).
• Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker accreditation.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 3. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,054.57 to $1,119.38 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.513 per hour will be paid where applicable.
