About the team The outdoor Civil Engineering team at Council is currently welcoming applications for the role of Concreter/ Construction Assistant. The Concretor/ Construction Assistant as a part of the Construction and Reticulation team is responsible for the satisfactory execution of general duties in the Concrete Structures Unit including the use of concreting skills for construction and/ or maintenance projects undertaken by the Civil Engineering Branch, including:
Remuneration shall range from $1,202.09 to $1,292.15 per week, inclusive of Adverse Working Conditions allowance. In addition, overtime and other allowances are payable where applicable. |

Examples of qualifications or training that would be advantageous:
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence, or preferably a NSW Class MR licence or higher.
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller (TCR) and Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP) accreditation.
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card').
- Formal trade qualification in construction techniques and experience in concreting works.
- Completion of Work safely in the vicinity of overhead electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.
- Completion of Enter and work in confined spaces unit of competency.
- Completion of Operate and maintain chainsaws unit of competency.
