About the role Inverell Shire Council's Financial Services team is currently seeking applications for the role of Accounts Receivable Officer within our Revenue team. The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for the management and control our Council's Sundry Debtors and Water billing system, and day to day tasks include but are not limited to:
Remuneration shall range from $1,181.80 to $1,271.86 per week. In addition, other allowances are payable where applicable. |

Examples of qualifications or training that would be advantageous:
- NSW Higher School Certificate or equivalent, or NSW School Certificate and satisfactory experience.
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
- Proficiency in the operation and use of computer systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of and demonstrated capacity to deliver good customer service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage competing priorities.
- Appointment as Justice of the Peace.
- Commencement and/ or completion of a course of study in a finance discipline acceptable to the Director Corporate and Community Services.
