About the Role
Due to growth in our Gisborne Port log export operations we are seeking to employ a dynamic Port Manager for our Marshalling and Stevedoring operations. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be dealing with all issues that relate to safety, quality and productivity including manpower planning, training and development of people, customer relationship building and the efficient utilisation of staff, plant and equipment. The Port Manager is critical to the company achieving its core key values, therefore the successful candidate needs to possess excellent communication skills, sound people management skills, technical knowledge and the ability to assess and evaluate the big picture.
